Once Comlyn Merchant Center is linked to your G.Ads account and you have uploaded the feed, you simply need to create a new Shopping campaign and select Comlyn Merchant Center during the first steps of campaign creation.
After doing so, the steps needed to set up the new campaign are exactly the same as when creating a campaign with Google Shopping
Comparing the results
The comparison must be made between two parallel Shopping campaigns with the same settings, but on different Merchant Center accounts (Comlyn &Google Shopping):
- Make sure the campaigns have the exact same settings and they remain unchanged during the whole period of analysis.
- Allow both campaigns to run for at least 15 days (learning period).
- Compare the campaigns for the same period of time.
Note: During the first 3-4 days the CPC of the Comlyn CSS campaign might be higher than the Google Shopping one. Afterward, the CPC will gradually decrease and then stabilize.
Have a look at the overview of the CSS campaign and select average CPC as one of the metrics to be shown on the graph, in order to see its progression over the time period. You need to wait a minimum of 15 days before being able to make any comparison.
