On July 24th, 2018, Google AdWords changed its brand to Google Ads - even though many users still refer to Google Ads as Google AdWords. This brand change covered the full range of Google campaign types including Search, Display, and Video. Google Ads came with a new logo and the brand change was reflected in Google’s new product interface, Help Center, billing documents, URL, and much more.
While it might seem like a big shift, the general use of Google’s services remained the same and the brand change had no impact on the users' advertising activities or campaign performances.
Therefore, we will continue to help businesses around the world to build and optimize their high-quality ads using advanced machine learning.
