Congrats! If you’re reading this article, you’re ready to take your advertising to the next level.
Setting up a new Google Ads account (previously known as Google AdWords) is necessary to reach customers whenever they’re looking for your products or services.
Please follow the steps below to create a Google Ads account.
1) Fill in the required information in Google Ads
Follow this link and add your email address, the country where you’re operating from, time zone and currency.
If you own an online store, please make sure that the selected currency matches the default currency of your e-commerce platform (i.e. Shopify, Prestashop). Otherwise, you’ll face a currency mismatch issue.
2) Sign up with your email address
If you already have a Google account, you can use it to sign up before moving on to the next steps. If you use another email provider account (e.g. Outlook, Yahoo, Hotmail), you can create a Google account using that email address and then log into Google Ads. After this step, you’ll face a disclaimer with the Terms & Conditions of Google Ads. Please make sure you’ve read them carefully before moving on.
3) Include your billing information
We're almost there. Just add your billing information in your Ads account to finalize your setup. You can access the "Billing & payments" section through the tool icon on the top-right side. Here you can edit your configuration including your country, billing address and payment details. Depending on the country, you’ll see different options for payment methods and billing options. 3) Ready to go
After entering all required information (country, tax information and billing information), you have to read the Terms & Conditions of the payments in Google Ads. When you accept them and submit your account to Google, your Ads account setup is completed. Now you’re ready to go back to Cobiro so we can get your automated ads to work.
