When you run ads on Google, you're only charged when someone clicks your ad. Therefore, it is not necessarily a bad thing to have an exhausted budget, as it tells you that your ads generated clicks and attracted website visitors.
Nonetheless, here are common reasons why your daily budget might get exhausted faster than you expected.
Budget too low
Your budget is set too low for the keywords that you are bidding on. If you have set your budget so low that the cost for a few clicks already exceeds your campaign budget, your budget might get depleted very quickly and your ads will not be shown.
When this happens, your campaign status will show “Limited by budget” in your Google Ads account.
Target location too broad
If your targeted location is very broad, it can happen that many people trigger your keywords through their search queries and end up clicking your ads. In this case, we suggest narrowing down your target area so your budget doesn't get diluted by an audience that is too large. To make adjustments to your target location in Google Ads, open your Cobiro campaign and click Locations on the left side menu.
Max. CPC too high
The maximum cost-per-click bid (or max. CPC) you determine during the onboarding process is the highest amount that you're willing to pay for a click on your ad. If someone clicks your ad, that click will never cost you more than the max. CPC that you set. Perhaps you have set a max. CPC that is too high relative to your daily budget.
